This sub-strand focuses on ICT classroom strategies that effectively integrate with teachers' pedagogical practices to derive engaging, effective and meaningful student-centric learning. - Collaborative Learning
This sub-strand focuses on the challenges, issues and solutions in undertaking collaborative learning through assisted technology. - Self-directed Learning
This sub-strand focuses on the strategies, processes and programmes that encourage students to manage, monitor, extend their learning, and self-regulate their personal development in cognitive and affective domains.
Explore: Innovative and Emerging technology learning environments that brings about enriching learning experiences on use of emerging technologies. This strand includes:
- Social networking avenues
This sub-strand focuses on how online social network services like blog, forum, instant messaging, Twitter and Facebook provide new opportunities for learners to come together to communicate, share, collectively learn and form their own communities of interests. - Learning Management System
This sub-strand focuses on how learning management systems can be effectively used to manage learning activities, aid administration, manage resources, and document learner performance. - Emerging learner-enabled platforms
This sub-strand focuses on affordances of emerging platforms such as mobile technology, immersive game play and virtual worlds, and their impact on enhancing teachers' pedagogical approach to student learning. - Student Assessment
This sub-strand focuses on assessing pedagogy effectiveness, measuring outcomes of learning activities and provision of guidance to learners (assessment for learning) through assisted technology.
