Title of Proposal
Please use Title Case and NOT all capitals. (120 characters limit)

HINT: A title should clearly depict what is being presented in the session. For example, a title such as "Bytes, Camera, Action!", although creative, does not adequately describe what the session is about. However, "Bytes, Camera, Action: Incorporating Digital Video in the Classroom" does.

Proposal Summary
You may use the following outline to guide you on the write-up for your paper presentation:

  • Rationale for technology intervention in the lesson/research
  • Learning objectives
  • Involvement of students, teachers or partners in education etc.
  • Pedagogical approach and technology intervention
  • Impact on learning and teaching
  • Challenges encountered and future plans

(Recommended length: 100-150 words)

Criteria for Proposal Review:

  • Relevance of topic to the field of educational technology
  • Educational significance and contribution to the respective theme and strands
  • Ease of replication
  • Interest to participants
  • Presenter's knowledge and experience

Commercial Content
Indicate the type and proportion of commercial content in your presentation, if applicable.

  • 50% or more of the content or examples are about product(s) available from a particular company or organisation
  • The topic is how to use a particular company or organisation's product(s) in the curriculum
  • Participants must purchase a particular company or organisation's product in order to apply most of the tools or skills learned in the session.

Facilities
Paper presentations will be assigned to rooms ranging in capacity from 50 - 200 depending on anticipated audience. Rooms will be set in theatre style and filled to capacity on a first-come, first-serve basis by conference participants.

The organiser will provide:

  • Internet connectivity
  • LCD projector and screen
  • microphone(s)
  • sound system
  • panel table with panellist microphones (for Panel Discussions only)

Note:
Please note that the presenters are required to bring along their computers for the presentation session.
